Anucha Metals supplies durable Aluminium 5052 Forgings designed for corrosion resistance and structural integrity. Produced in Bangkok, Thailand, our 5052 forgings are perfect for marine, automotive, and architectural applications. They are known for their excellent weldability and formability, making them ideal for parts that need flexibility and durability. We offer custom sizes and shapes made with precision and consistency using advanced forging technology and quality-controlled processes.
Aluminium 5052 consists of about 97% aluminium, 2.5% magnesium, and 0.3% chromium. It is a non-heat-treatable alloy that offers moderate strength (tensile strength 190–280 MPa) and excellent corrosion resistance. The yield strength is around 160 MPa. This alloy has excellent weldability and cold workability and retains ductility after forging. It performs reliably in marine environments and is suitable for forming and machining.

Aluminum 5052 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, good weldability, and formability. It's lightweight, durable, resistant to stress cracking, and performs well in marine and industrial environments, making it ideal for custom forgings.
Aluminum 5052 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its relatively low melting point and poor high-temperature strength. Alloys like 7075 or 2011 are better suited for such applications.
Aluminum 5052 has excellent workability, making it suitable for forging. Its low-to-medium strength, good corrosion resistance, and formability allow for ease in shaping, reducing the risk of cracking during forging.
Aluminium 5052 Forgings are commonly used in marine structures, boat fittings, railings, and offshore equipment due to their corrosion resistance. In automotive manufacturing, they work well for fuel tanks, brackets, and chassis parts. Architects use 5052 forgings for panels, signage, and facade support systems. Industrial applications include pressure vessels, refrigeration units, and conveyors. The alloy’s flexibility and strength make it a practical choice for complex forged shapes used in transport, electronics, and consumer products.
