Anucha Metals, a prominent manufacturer and supplier in Bangkok, Thailand, offers Aluminium 5005 Forgings designed for strength, corrosion resistance, and attractive finishes. Aluminium 5005 is a magnesium-aluminium alloy with excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion and high weldability. Its smooth surface finish makes it particularly suitable for architectural and anodized uses. Anucha Metals maintains high-quality practices, precision forging, and reliability with every batch produced. Industries needing durable, lightweight, and visually appealing materials rely on Aluminium 5005 Forgings, which are ideal for construction, marine, transportation, and decorative architectural projects where performance and appearance are both vital.
Aluminium 5005 Forgings usually contain 97.5% aluminium with 0.7 to 1.2% magnesium, along with trace amounts of iron, silicon, and copper. This alloy provides tensile strength between 145 and 190 MPa and yield strength from 65 to 130 MPa depending on temper. Elongation is about 12 to 20%, granting good formability. Although this alloy cannot be heat-treated, it is highly workable and offers great corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and outdoor settings. It anodizes uniformly for attractive finishes, making it suitable for decorative applications. It is durable and weldable, blending strong mechanical properties and corrosion resistance for versatile uses.

Aluminum 5005 offers excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, formability, and moderate strength, making it ideal for custom forgings in architectural and marine applications, while providing a smooth, aesthetic finish.
Aluminum 5005 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications. It has moderate strength and good corrosion resistance but lacks the high-temperature stability needed for forging processes.
Aluminum 5005 has good workability, allowing for easy forging. Its moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance make it suitable for shaping, but it requires careful control of temperature to avoid cracking.
