Anucha Metals, a well-known supplier and manufacturer in Bangkok, Thailand, offers Aluminium 1100 Forgings recognized for their outstanding resistance to corrosion and excellent workability. Aluminium 1100 is a commercially pure grade with at least 99% aluminium content, making it one of the softest yet versatile alloys available. It is lightweight, ductile, and suitable for forming, forging, and welding processes. At Anucha Metals, we create Aluminium 1100 Forgings with great precision, ensuring their durability and compliance with global quality standards. These forgings are widely used in packaging, roofing, utensils, and architecture, where corrosion resistance and high-quality finishes are essential.
Aluminium 1100 Forgings consist of a minimum of 99% aluminium with small amounts of copper (0.05 to 0.20%), iron, and silicon. The alloy provides a tensile strength of about 90 to 150 MPa and yield strength between 30 and 100 MPa depending on temper. It has high ductility, with elongation reaching 25%, making it excellent for forming and forging. This alloy cannot be heat-treated but offers great corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. Although it is softer than other grades, it maintains its structural integrity under moderate loads and is easy to weld or braze, making it versatile for lightweight and corrosion-resistant forged products.

Aluminum 1100 forging allows custom shapes like rings, discs, bars, flanges, stepped shafts, and intricate profiles, ideal for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications requiring high corrosion resistance and ductility.
Aluminum 1100 is unsuitable for high-temperature forging applications due to its low melting point and poor strength at elevated temperatures, making it better suited for cold working or low-temperature uses.
Aluminum 1100 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, good thermal conductivity, lightweight properties, and exceptional workability, making it ideal for custom forgings requiring precise shapes and resistance to harsh environments.
Aluminium 1100 Forgings are widely used in chemical equipment, roofing sheets, siding panels, and heat exchangers due to their resistance to atmospheric and chemical corrosion. The food and beverage industries use them for utensils, cookware, and packaging foils. In architecture, they serve as decorative panels, signage, and roofing components. For transport, they are suitable for lightweight parts where formability is important. Their excellent reflectivity also makes them ideal for lighting fixtures. With a mix of affordability, corrosion resistance, and workability, Aluminium 1100 Forgings are a favored choice for both functional and decorative applications.
