Stainless Steel 304 Square Bars and Rods are made up of 18–20% Chromium and 8–10.5% Nickel, along with trace amounts of Carbon, Manganese, Silicon, and Iron. This unique blend provides the alloy with outstanding corrosion resistance, particularly in mildly corrosive settings. On the mechanical side, 304 stainless steel has a tensile strength of around 515 MPa (75 ksi) and a yield strength of 205 MPa (30 ksi), along with good elongation and toughness.
