Anucha Metals is a trustworthy producer and supplier of hastelloy C22 forgings, located in Bangkok, Thailand. Renowned for developing high-quality corrosion-resistant alloy forgings, Anucha Metals provides hastelloy C22 forgings for application within the most aggressive chemical and high-temperature environments. Produced to international specifications, these forgings are applied to industries such as chemical processing, aerospace, power generation, and marine applications. With emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and timely supply, Anucha Metals has become a reliable supplier of high-quality hastelloy C22 material in local and international markets.
Forgings of hastelloy C22 are mostly nickel-based alloys with large percentages of chromium, molybdenum, iron, and copper. This makes the alloy highly resistant to oxidizing and reducing agents, owing to its excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, hastelloy C22 forgings have superior strength, toughness, and resistance to creep and fatigue at high temperature. The alloy is also easy to weld and can be forged to complex shapes without compromising its superior corrosion resistance or mechanical properties.

Yes, Hastelloy C22 can be forged into custom shapes, as it has good formability and strength at elevated temperatures. However, it requires precise control during the forging process to maintain its properties.
The ideal temperature range for forging Hastelloy C22 is between 2,100°F (1,150°C) and 2,300°F (1,260°C). This ensures optimal formability and minimizes the risk of damaging the material's properties.
The forging process for Hastelloy C22 typically takes several minutes to hours, depending on the complexity and size of the part. The heating and cooling cycles also influence the total time required for forging.
Hastelloy C22 forgings are extensively used for severe service components in chemical reactors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and valves for severe corrosion resistance. They are also utilized in aerospace and power generation industries for high-temperature and abusive environment-exposed parts. Moreover, these forgings are utilized in seawater-handling marine equipment and pollution control systems providing long-term service life along with stable performance under intense chemical and mechanical stresses.
