Stainless Steel 303 Round Bars and Rods are made up of 17–19% Chromium and 8–10% Nickel, with a purposeful addition of Sulfur to enhance machinability. They also include trace amounts of Manganese, Silicon, Phosphorus, and Carbon. This austenitic stainless steel is known for its excellent machining capabilities while still providing decent corrosion resistance. Typically, SS 303 has a tensile strength ranging from 500–750 MPa and a yield strength of about 190 MPa, along with good elongation and impact resistance.
