These Silver Brazing Rods are mainly made of silver, combined with copper, zinc, and occasionally small amounts of tin, cadmium-free alloys, or nickel to boost performance. The silver content typically varies from 15% to 56%, influencing the melting range and flow characteristics. They boast excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, and superior wettability, which ensures strong capillary action during the brazing process. Silver brazing rods are not designed for welding, as they are intended for brazing. Attempting to weld them can result in poor joint strength and structural integrity.
