Alloy steel bright bars contain carbon (0.3–0.6%), with other elements like chromium, molybdenum, and manganese. Cold drawing increases yield strength (up to 900 MPa) and provides tensile strength between 600–1000 MPa, depending on the grade and processing. Bright bars have tight tolerances, great surface quality, and are easy to machine. They can be heat-treated, case-hardened, or annealed for final use. Their improved mechanical properties and precise finish make them suitable for high-performance engineering and manufacturing applications.
